About Janet White

Janet White is the person every job seeker hates. For 35 years, she has gotten every job she every want easily and effortlessly - even when she didn't have the qualifications, didn't have any experience, didn't know anyone on the inside, there was enormous competition and the economy was either in the tank or getting there.

At 17, Janet got into the college of her choice – even though she didn’t have the grades or SAT scores, didn’t have connections, a grant, scholarship, minority status or any special advantage, there was enormous competition for a limited number of freshman slots, and she was told by the “experts” that it was impossible.

How Janet did "the impossible" set the stage for how she would get every job she ever wanted for the next three decades, and her experiences laid the groundwork for her revolutionary “Contrarian System” of getting hired which she shares in Secrets of the Hidden Job Market: Change Your Thinking to Get the Job of Your Dreams.

Janet’s diverse career includes working as:
  • A reporter for Newsday on Long Island, New York, one of ten college students a nationwide pool of 1,500 applicants
  • Operations assistant at legendary Top 40 Musicradio WABC-AM in New York City when it was the #1 radio station in America, despite having no training, education, personal connections or experience in broadcasting
  • A commercial real estate writer and publicist for 12 years, including nine as an independent writer and publicist working for some of the largest companies in the industry in New York and Dallas
